Welcome to Grandma's Comfort Food. A recipe blog dedicated to all of the great homemade comfort food passed down from my grandmother. November 6, 2011. These are just like peanut butter cookies but are made with almond butter I added some broken toffee crunch candy to the mix. It added a special crunch to the cookie. 1/2 cup unsalted butter. 1 cup almond butter. 1 cup white sugar. 1 cup packed brown sugar. 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour. 1 teaspoon baking powder. 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda.
