I can never remember how much produce I bought and if it was enough or too much.I'll try to keep track. 4 half-flats of raspberries. 4 half-flats of strawberries. 1 half-flat combo blackberry, marionberry and boysenberry. 5 lbs cukes (from Jubilee. got 10 but the rest were too big to do anything with). I think there were more berries than this. But this is what I can remember. Sarah also gave us a ton of blueberries and we had several pints off the bushes. 6 quarts halved cherries.

Monday, October 22, 2012. Lots of carrots this year. I've made carrot muffins, carrot pancakes, and even carrot cake oatmeal (looked crazy but Emmett thought it was great). Sunday, May 24, 2015. I made this with blueberries and vanilla yogurt today. So good. The original recipe had 1/2 cup brown sugar in the topping but I thought it was more than necessary. Found a great recipe for Peach Pancakes courtesy of www.likemotherlikedaughters.com. 2 eggs, at room temperature. 2 ½ cups buttermilk, at room temperature (I substituted vanilla yogurt). 2 ½ cups flour. 2 teaspoons baking powder. 1 teaspoon baking soda. 1 teaspoon kosher salt. 188; teaspoon cinnamon. 188; teaspoon ginger. 2 cups ripe, peeled, diced peaches.

For Halloween and we ended up deciding on a flapper. To go with Emmett's '20s newsboy outfit. I prepped Clara by showing her youtube videos of flappers. She was quite excited about the dancing. There were a bunch of pre-made flapper dresses. 7 yards of red fringe (this was probably about a yard more than I needed). 2 yard string of pearls.
