miss fancy pants (the bride): September 2010
http://missfancypantsthebride.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 28, 2010. I know, I know, I know. I've officially become the slackest blogger on the face of the planet. Give me a break. Being married is enough work, but when you add onto that a new semester of school. well, let's just say that blogging hasn't been at the forefront of my mind lately. And I can't believe how much has been happening since I've been away! And babies are showing up. And more often than not, I find myself wondering whether or not I feel differently about our relationship...

Love at the Lodge: Don't Believe Everything That You Read
http://loveatthelodge.blogspot.com/2010/09/dont-believe-everything-that-you-read.html
Love at the Lodge. Monday, September 27, 2010. Don't Believe Everything That You Read. My wedding is in 5 days. Obviously, that means I am stalking weather.com. But here's the thing, when I pull up the 10 day forecast it says a high of 81 degrees with a 30% chance of isolated thunderstorms, and then when I click on October 2nd to see more detail, it says 92 degrees, sunny and a 0% chance of precipitation. So clearly weather.com is deliberately effing with me. September 27, 2010 at 9:30 AM. I am praying f...

Love at the Lodge: Hurry Up Already!!!
http://loveatthelodge.blogspot.com/2010/10/hurry-up-already.html
Love at the Lodge. Sunday, October 24, 2010. So, I just drafted a post on one of my favorite details from our wedding, and as I sifted through what little pictures we have from our friends and family I realized that we don't have any pictures of this detail. Waiting for our pro pics is putting a serious cramp in my blogging style! I know it has only been 3 weeks, but I want my professional pictures dammit! So that post will just have to sit in draft form until my photographer gets a move on.

Love at the Lodge: We're Back...and I've Been Tagged!
http://loveatthelodge.blogspot.com/2010/10/were-backand-ive-been-tagged.html
Love at the Lodge. Tuesday, October 12, 2010. We're Back.and I've Been Tagged! We're back from a blissful week on the Big Island! We got back home late Sunday night and pre-planned to take Monday off from work to recuperate. Actually, the Mister already had it off because it was Columbus Day. About half way through the day we both realized a second recuperation day was in order so we both called out today. Jacin over at She Said Yes! 1 what was the last movie you watched? 2 what's your favorite food?

Love at the Lodge: Details Details: Beer Me!
http://loveatthelodge.blogspot.com/2010/03/details-details-beer-me.html
Love at the Lodge. Tuesday, March 16, 2010. Details Details: Beer Me! NO GLASS BEVERAGE CONTAINERS. So we're going to have to find a way to hide or prettify the kegs. Of course, I turned to my trusty internets for inspiration. We could make no attempt to hide the kegs and instead play up the casual, outdoorsy vibe of our wedding by doing something like this:. Victoria and Fritz's wedding. Featured on Once Wed). Beer in a canoe? Pretty unique. And I like the sign. Val and Garth's wedding. OK, THAT would b...

Love at the Lodge: The Time Has Come
http://loveatthelodge.blogspot.com/2010/10/time-has-come.html
Love at the Lodge. Friday, October 1, 2010. The Time Has Come. It's the day before our wedding. I can hardly believe it. I have a nail appointment in 2 hours, and after that I'm on a strict schedule so we can be on the road to our venue. I did what felt right for me. So thank you. Thank you for your feedback, thank you for listening, thank you for being a friend (Ha! Had to throw in a Golden Girl's reference.). Its been great reading about your planning and Im so happy for you! October 1, 2010 at 7:56 AM.

Love at the Lodge: Details Details: No Cake Wrecks Please!
http://loveatthelodge.blogspot.com/2010/03/details-details-no-cake-wrecks-please.html
Love at the Lodge. Sunday, March 28, 2010. Details Details: No Cake Wrecks Please! We're jumping on the cake buffet bandwagon. Well, that's what people will think anyway, though in reality I've wanted a self-serve cake buffet since the first time I heard about cake cutting fees. I've got a massive sweet tooth so you don't have to convince me that having multiple cakes and other assorted goodies in lieu of a traditional wedding cake is a good idea. What flavors do we want? How many do we need? What desser...

Love at the Lodge: Wedding Day Weather
http://loveatthelodge.blogspot.com/2010/10/wedding-day-weather.html
Love at the Lodge. Wednesday, October 20, 2010. So, remember how in the days leading up to the wedding I was freaking. About the chance of rain? When we got up the mountain on Friday, it was overcast and sprinkled on and off. No bueno. It was never heavy enough rain to make you go inside though, so I didn't let it get the best of me. October 20, 2010 at 8:28 AM. Kristin - Miss Glasses. October 20, 2010 at 6:42 PM. Hooray for no rain. I am so glad the rain stayed away for you. October 23, 2010 at 10:54 PM.
