Thursday, June 9, 2011. Field Stone Edging DIY. Adding Field Stone Edging - Down and Dirty. I've decided to do a technical blog post to share some of the knowledge I've learned over the years. I know its not rocket science but it does take some common sense and grunt power. My demonstration will show effort I am putting into my own landscape, so the effort probably isn't a professional defined effort. In other words it's Down and Dirty. If I was getting paid for this it would be more refined. After layin...

Through My Garden Window: June 2013
http://throughmygardenwindow.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
Through My Garden Window. Wednesday, June 12, 2013. Summer blew in today! Spring and I were having a stand off.who could wait the longest to get motivated. We've had a lot of rain, which is a blessing after last year's drought, the only thing lacking was sunshine. All my plants are really thick and lush, but the blooms are slow in coming. Remember how we always hope the peonies will be open for Memorial Day? Mine just started opening last week. My knockout rose isn't exactly knocking itself out this year.

That looks a lot like…”. Landscape Design and Garden Blog. 8220;Beans, Boots & Mullein”. September 28, 2014. I usually go through work boots as fast as cowboys-of-old would have gone through beans and mullein. No idea where that analogy came from. Http:/ www.eastsidepatch.com/2013/05/brains/. Most disintegrate within a year but these Timberlands just keep on going like stinky protective slippers. With the leather long-worn from the toe. 8216;Smokin’ hot boots’! I noticed it from afar,. 8220;wait, is that a? 8220;Why is it protruding out the side like that? 8220;Thats not normal.”. I subconsciously tried to shield my kids from this sago’s rather confrontational appendage, bundling them quickly through the front door of Dave and Busters. That’s all I have to say about that. Cold temperatures and even colder rain have taken care of the usual frost-prone victims,.

That looks a lot like…”. Landscape Design and Garden Blog. March 22, 2015. Artist: Philippe de Champaigne. Was a period in the Dutch Golden Age during which contract prices for bulbs of the recently introduced tulip reached extraordinarily high levels and then suddenly collapsed. At the peak of tulip mania, in March 1637, some single tulip bulbs sold for more than 10 times the annual income of a skilled craftsman. It is generally considered the first recorded speculative bubble. A Satire of Tulip Mania.

Through My Garden Window: December 2011
http://throughmygardenwindow.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Through My Garden Window. Saturday, December 3, 2011. There isn't a whole lot of color outside today. We have our first snow - maybe 4 inches so far. It was so nice earlier, with the quiet of snow. The snow blowers are humming now, although it is still snowing. The birds are visiting the bird feeders, and the squirrels are eating what is dropped. Nobody home . . . Is it Spring yet? Through My Garden Window: February 2012
http://throughmygardenwindow.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Through My Garden Window. Sunday, February 5, 2012. My last post was titled First Snow, and I'm hoping by calling this one Last Snow, that it will be the end of the weather we had yesterday. What a week it has been! In spite of having a cold, I spent time outside cleaning out the flower beds, planting lettuce seed, and taking down my Winter decorations. It looked kind of silly having ice skates, crafted snowmen, painted snow signs, and such in the yard while the flowers were beginning to sprout. Subscrib...

That looks a lot like…”. Landscape Design and Garden Blog. Whats in Your Stocking? January 2, 2015. We had once again survived Christmas. A set of styrene guns kept him busy,. She got the doll she had coveted for the last 6 months,. And we got a bunch more stuffed characters for Kumo to terrorize and pull the eyes off well into next year. We hunkered down with blankets on the couch, drank Bailey’s Irish Cream and watched all of the Harry Potter movies…once again, one a night for eight nights. Straight ou...

http://throughmygardenwindow.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Through My Garden Window. Tuesday, March 20, 2012. Spring is officially here! The Pasque is beginning to bloom. Ground cover is waking up. My Autumn Joy Sedum as well as Black Jack are poking out. Last year, I planted a pink Knock Out rose. . . I'm glad to see it is greening up. I was really happy to see the Pink Double Delight Coneflower I planted last year is sprouting. What the heck is right! A walker in the sand and rocks forming a question mark. Judy Through My Garden Window. Nebraska, United States.

Kirengeshoma palmata, also known as yellow waxbells is a rather unusual woodland plant. Time for a revisit. We al...
BRAMBLE & BEAN: My View from Federal Twist

Tuesday, May 1, 2012. My View from Federal Twist. Last weekend, I had the immense pleasure of visiting Jim Golden's country home, Federal Twist. I have been a great admirer of Jim and his gardens in New Jersey and in Brooklyn, which he chronicles on his blog, View from Federal Twist. Jim is my neighbor in Brooklyn, so I am very lucky to have established a friendship with Jim that goes beyond the four corners of my laptop screen. Posted by Dig Brooklyn. Michael B. Gordon. Simply Shady ~ Years of Stored Gray Matter & Psycho-babble
Simply Shady Years of Stored Gray Matter and Psycho-babble. And some lunacy rant). Thursday, April 16, 2009. Who Runs the Factory. Who runs the factory while I sleep. And how do I know I've had a dream. Who tells me these things, or how do I remember. How do I know that I have been asleep when I dream. And what is it that drives me to think that I am awake when I may be asleep. Who can answer these things. Links to this post. Monday, January 12, 2009. Is there a hidden meaning. Tonight I head to Canada for the first time, to Vancouver for AniRevo. There are five game shows on the slate, including the *actual* debut of Wheel of Fortune. Unless I blow it again. The other games will be Pokémon Game Show, Jeopardy! And Line ‘Em Up featuring The 404s. See you tomorrow, Vancouver! August 12, 2015. Did absolutely everything they could in order to he...
Gardening with Greggo
Thursday, July 14, 2016. It's been a while since I've posted as social media seems to take all the spare time these days. I'm somewhat nostalgic writing this blog post as writing them used to consume quite a bit of spare time, nevertheless I always enjoyed completing a post and interacting with other bloggers. As always the 15th of the month means Garden Bloggers Bloom Day, a meme created by Carol at May Dream Gardens. Where fellow gardeners display their blooms every month. A few wide angle shots. As yo...
