Under Sundog: Brief Dispatch
http://www.undersundog.com/2015/04/brief-dispatch.html
Thursday, April 30, 2015. Hello, Blog. We meet again. At the moment, my freelance grab-bag overfloweth. I have social media work, and technical editing work, and journalism work, and proofing work, and too much of it. And too little time to write my fictions. Right now, my fictions are commiserating with Blog. Probably talking mad trash about me. Good for me. I hadnt thought of it before, but just now that feels like an accomplishment. This week I proofread a 50-page stack of resumes for a job proposal (...

The Misadventures of an Average Mom: It's not a race...
http://lillys-mama.blogspot.com/2012/08/its-not-race.html
The Misadventures of an Average Mom. Because Average is the New AWESOME. Sunday, August 5, 2012. It's not a race. But I sure wish I was at the finish line. What else is fairly cliche that I can throw on here. One step forward, two steps back? I guess it is more like 2 steps forward one step back though for the majority. I weighed in this morning a pound and a half heavier. Well, I wont bore you. I probably wont post for at least another week either so don't get too worried. View my complete profile.

Half the Rice: Remember the Brewery 100? The Enhanced Version Part 3
http://halftherice.blogspot.com/2015/07/remember-brewery-100-enhanced-version.html
Team Beaver Intake Form. Wednesday, July 29, 2015. Remember the Brewery 100? The Enhanced Version Part 3. Oh Great Beaver in the Sky, save us," I thought as the small blue pick-up truck swerved into the on coming lane, the lane I was riding in, with a tuckered out Masinga behind me. But, I am sweetening the pot. Yes, in the midst of all this recounting there are brief interludes of Choose-Your-Own-Adventure style shenanigans. Enjoy! And very responsibly and with much dignity we each sampled a few brews a...

MedicalArtMofo: March 2012
http://medicalartmofo.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 25, 2012. Another item crossed off my 30-Before-30 List! Today the hubs and I ran the Chicago Shamrock Shuffle 8k! We didn't train very much so I was extremely excited to finish these 5 miles in less than 1 hour (58 minutes, cutting it close but still under! And now I think he's caught the running bug and wants to sign up for more, possibly a 10k. I don't know if he'll ever get the itch to run a half-marathon, but we shall see. I signed up for another jewelry class! Monday, March 12, 2012.

Some Girls Prefer Carnations: Sprung from my tower
http://carnations.blogspot.com/2014/05/sprung-from-my-tower.html
Some Girls Prefer Carnations. Saturday, May 24, 2014. Sprung from my tower. This morning my neutrophils were 2280, which is over twice as high as they needed to be! That must be some kind of powerful bone marrow meditation I invented. I must admit, I feel a bit like a rockstar, which is funny considering I didn't actually do anything. Thank you, everyone, for the well-wishes that helped me achieve this goal! I feel like Rapunzel when she escaped from her tower, singing:. Just smell the grass! Thank you f...

http://www.undersundog.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Thursday, October 30, 2014. So last night James and I were laying. On our air mattress watching a horror movie. It's called Resolution. And is about a guy who goes to a spooky cabin to try and get his buddy off drugs but all these creepy things start happening. Guess what else is creepy? At a quiet part of the movie I hear a rustling noise . coming from our room! You're going to want to wash this stuff," he said when he returned. Reader, I'm glad I didn't actually see this. It would have been too muc...

Under Sundog: December 2014
http://www.undersundog.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 19, 2014. Tis the Season in Manhattan. I don't go to Manhattan that often, no need to. James goes there every weekday, but he was still a good sport last weekend and accompanied me to check out the Rockefeller tree and other seasonal festivity. So, window shopping: The windows at the big department stores here are so tricked out this time of year there are roped-off lines to herd people past them. (We did not stand in these lines, content to just see the displays from afar.). I guess you...
