Monday, September 20, 2010. On Saturday, Sept. 18, we had watermelon on the deck in 50 degree temperatures with a 30 mph north wind. The watermelon was amazing! We laughed so hard because it was so cold but we werent about to not eat LOL! Saturday, September 18, 2010. Thank You LORD for CHANGE. THIS IS WHAT STOMPED ALL OVER ME.Beth Moore asks a question, "How often do we stomp our feet at God after HE has delivered us from the things of this world and say, "I want some of it back"? So, what is my deal...

Friday, September 30, 2011. First Field Trip: APPLE ORCHARD. Here are pictures from the day:. He was patiently waiting for me to come see his creation. It tasted really good too! Mathen and Penelope carrying their tarts to the playground for the picnic before the field trip. Little playtime after lunch. The weather was so nice. Boys and sticks.he was excited that he could use it to write in the dirt. Killing some time while the other parents unloaded their kids. Two at a time seemed to be the theme.

Tuesday, September 17, 2013. Well, today's update isn't one of those posts full of amazing photos of amazing places we've visited recently. And, just for the record - I'm doing ok! I'm a survivor and very thankful for the life we are living here in Germany but man, it hasn't been all sunshine and roses! Let me start by updating you on our amazing boys. 3 Monkeys and Me!: August 2013
http://marsonmonkeys.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html
Saturday, August 31, 2013. The Black Forest - Triberg. Triberg is located directly on the Black Forest railway line and is famous for Germany's highest waterfalls, which have an overall drop of 163 metres over 7 cascades. Extra bonus - it's only 50 minutes from our home in Stockach. This trip was extra special for me because of our weekend visitors! The Palmer family came from their home in Wiesbaden and stayed the weekend. Matt and Kathy have two precious daughters - Emily (age 16) and Lizzy (age 13).

Sunday, October 20, 2013. Adventures at Monkey Mountain. Who knew, that just 15 minutes down the road from our home, we'd find this treasure called Monkey Mountain! Barbary monkeys are critically endangered and remain on the Red List of Threatened Species. Monkey Mountain is able to provide a natural habitat for breeding and if our eyes don't deceive us, it's working! We saw several cute babies today! Sorry about the blurry shot! Even dad got in on the feeding action! We fed the fish too! We are still wa...
