I grew up Granby and my kids are too. Thursday, August 14, 2014. Ice, Ice Baby. Fast forward to 2007 when my son was diagnosed with autism and those puzzle piece logos were pretty much everywhere. Autism Speaks is one of those organizations that likes to raise a lot of money and pay their staff most of it. Friday, June 7, 2013. This year, in lieu of presents, we decided to try out a new way of celebrating our children's birthdays. Truthfully, my children have very little need for more toys. In an effort to make birthdays special memories instead of more materialism we have decided to forgo toys and instead treat our children to a special outing.
