In my opinion, I do not think we would be having the big discussion in America about gay marriage if it were not for our tax code and the benefits being offered by our government. It is all about the money. If it was not about the money, I think the gay marriage debate would only be taking place in our churches and not in the Supreme Court. Serving God, Others, and Family. Wednesday, July 29, 2015. The heat of summer has settled in after a rocky beginning. As springtime closed out, I wasn’t sure if we were going to have a typical summer or if it might be cooler than normal; I shouldn’t have worried as it has been hot lately. In June, Granna and I celebrated our forty-fifth anniversary. It is bothersome to think that we have been married that many years. How can the years pass by so quickly? How can our youngest grandchild be ten already?
