As springtime closed out, I wasn’t sure if we were going to have a typical summer or if it might be cooler than normal; I shouldn’t have worried as it has been hot lately. In June, Granna and I celebrated our forty-fifth anniversary. It is bothersome to think that we have been married that many years. How can the years pass by so quickly? The photo on the left shows me with the West Side Shay #12 at the Colorado Railroad Museum where I did some volunteer work on it and the Kahului #12 at the Georgetown Loop back in September.
