GSoC Mathtex: Rendering Improvements
http://gsoc-mathtex.blogspot.com/2009/08/rendering-improvements.html
Presenting quasi real-time updates on the status of my 2009 Summer of Code project. Saturday, 1 August 2009. Over the past couple of days I have been working to improve the rendering quality of mathtex. Rather than describe the changes with several paragraphs of prose I thought it more apt to have a before-and-after picture instead. As can be seen the result is much closer to that produced by LaTeX. GSoC Mathtex: Rendering: Now Bug-for-Bug Compatible
http://gsoc-mathtex.blogspot.com/2009/07/rendering-now-bug-for-bug-compatible.html
Presenting quasi real-time updates on the status of my 2009 Summer of Code project. Tuesday, 7 July 2009. Rendering: Now Bug-for-Bug Compatible. Over the last week or so I have been doing a couple of things. Firstly, integrating FT2Font and the font-manager from matplotlib into mathtex to remove the dependency on matplotlib and secondly fixing various rendering issues. This showcases a simple square root. Although the left- and top-padding it is big excessive it is perfectly acceptable.
GSoC Mathtex: YAPP (Yet Another Progress Report)
http://gsoc-mathtex.blogspot.com/2009/07/yapp-yet-another-progress-report.html
Presenting quasi real-time updates on the status of my 2009 Summer of Code project. Wednesday, 29 July 2009. YAPP (Yet Another Progress Report). It only just hit that it has been well over a week since my last blog post. This is unfortunate, as I like to blog at least once a week. Without further ado here is what has been happening in mathtex this week. Finally, the mailing list has been more active than ever! Over the past few days there have been several interesting discussions on equation breaking, bu...
GSoC Mathtex: Branching Off
http://gsoc-mathtex.blogspot.com/2009/07/branching-off.html
Presenting quasi real-time updates on the status of my 2009 Summer of Code project. Saturday, 18 July 2009. As the more astute (or stalker) readers may have noticed there have not been any commits to the mathtex subversion repository over the past couple of days. The reason for this is because over the past couple of days (and probably for a few more) I have been working on re-integrating mathtex back into matplotlib. While it should not take long to port all of the existing backends over to mathtex the ...
GSoC Mathtex: Enhancements to the Command Line Utility
http://gsoc-mathtex.blogspot.com/2009/07/enhancements-to-command-line-utility.html
Presenting quasi real-time updates on the status of my 2009 Summer of Code project. Tuesday, 14 July 2009. Enhancements to the Command Line Utility. Today I implemented a challenge-response style persistence mode to the command line utility. Usually, the command line utility — which ships as part of mathtex — exits as soon as it has finished rendering the equation. However, in persistence mode, which is invoked by providing no output file it works as follows:. 16 July 2009 at 13:46. 16 July 2009 at 13:57.

Presenting quasi real-time updates on the status of my 2009 Summer of Code project. Sunday, 9 August 2009. The Status of 0.2. Last Wednesday I pushed out the first release candidate of 0.2. The main motivation behind the release was to get the new caching code (needed by matplotlib) out into the wild as soon as possible. However, soon after my mentor, Michael Droettboom, sent me a patch adding support for the MathML torture tests. Saturday, 1 August 2009. Over the past couple of days I have been working ...
GSOC : MCABBER
Jeudi 19 août 2010. This is the end, Of our elaborate plans, the end. As you all know, GSOC 2010 has ended. I'm proud to announce that file transfer is working. The only finished transport module is In-Band Bytestreams, so speed is not optimal, but it's not a problem for small files. I started the SOCKS5 Bytestreams module, but it's a work in progress and is not usable yet. You can still access the git repository here. Jeudi 12 août 2010. A few days before end. Mercredi 4 août 2010. Update on my progress.

Lattices in Sage
Google Summer of Code 2012 project by Jan Pöschko. Friday, August 24, 2012. Update on class structure, lattice constructors, plotting. Sorry that I haven't posted to this blog for a while. That doesn't mean that nothing happened in the meanwhile—on the contrary, I got quite a lot done in the last weeks of this Summer of Code. First of all, I completely redesigned the class structure for lattices in Sage. Accounting for the discussion on sage-devel. Or via the standard real inner product). Represents latt...
