Mods for the Track Day, Part 2. Jan 11th, 2012 at 11:20 PM. Ok so I think we can all agree that changing out the stock steering wheel for the Ital Volanti one was a good move. Whether I can justify it on a street car - I now have no drivers side airbag - remains to be seen (although I have read somewhere the airbags, especially those made in the 80s and 90s, tend to only have a shelf life of around 10 years.). Thats right, despite harsh critiques on the GTROC forum,. I chose to go ahead and buy this:.
