Okay I'm officially confused. I want to buy a bike. Part-road-bike-part-mountain-bike, something basic to start with. But there are so many! My hands/wrists were such a problem tonight.I'm really looking forward to my VersaGripps (ordered based on a recommendation in. Arriving hopefully before this time next week. Also looking forward to the 3 x 10. Right wrist really hurt, grip failed in second set. Getting close to the weights where I'm going to need help getting the bar down to start (I can barely reach it on my tiptoes). 2 x 12@17.5lb. Some folks like to be spoon-fed nutritional information; others like to learn on their own. This is for the latter group. First, the JISSN published a meta-analysis called Contemporary Issues in Protein Requirements and Consumption for Resistance Trained Athletes. Just thought I'd share that with you. I linked an article. Describing a new drug that purports to cause metabolic effects similar to those following exercise. The article indicates that the drug works on PPar-delta; a PubMed/NMH article reveals this. It's interesting to note that the researchers felt it necessary to note the saturated fat content of western diets; I wonder what, if any, this does to the utility of PPar-delta. Further, I wonder if this will become a tool for fitness-minded folk (and, of course, bodybuilders).
