Saturday, April 7, 2012. These past weeks have been sort of rough in my house with one kid after another getting sick.with five kids, this can get out hand! Hopefully, we are on our way to recovery and nobody else will be catching anything else anytime soon. My favorite topping, as well as for my husband and daughter, is chocolate hazelnut spread and bananas. My boys, who are allergic to nuts, will eat these with different types of preserves or fruit. 1 ¼ cup flour. 189; cup corn starch. 2 cups of milk.

Pâte Brisée Pie (or tart) Shell. 6 T cold butter. 1/8 tsp. salt. 1 T (full rounded) plain sugar. 1/4 cup ice cold water. 1 egg, beaten. 1/2 tsp. salt. 2 tbsp. butter. Serve at room temperature or, better, chill in refrigerator and serve. Nb You can also try making this in a muffin tin, as individual "tartelettes". Half and Half No-Knead Bread (50% Whole Wheat). This is the latest and perhaps greatest, if not last, variation on the theme of no-knead "breading" for The Recipeless Cook. It is the coup de maitre of taking one half quantity of all purpose flour, and one half whole wheat (stoneground organic no less), and making the perfect bread out of the perfect compromise. It's one of my best variations. Why do this? Why not go all the way, with one flour type or another? 2 c whole wheat flour. 2 T gluten powder.
