http://zwinggifamily.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html

It was also a stop on the underground railroad which we were able to see the hiding place where they kept the runaway slaves. So I love history! But I wanted to see that particular bunch of fields for myself! In these particular fields thousands of people died a...

Zwinggi Zoo: March 2009
http://zwinggifamily.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, March 12, 2009. Noah my 2nd little genius. He is really catching on, I thought. Then he asked if he could write some words. Of course! This is what he wrote, his first time trying a sentence. I gave him no prompt. Then he illustrated the sentences. If you ask him, his sentence was "A CAT RAN ON A BOX". Then he said that he knew a good one. his third attempt. I know that I'm a bit biased because I'm his mommy, but I think this is pretty amazing for a boy that just turned 4 years old in November!

Zwinggi Zoo: October 2008

Wednesday, October 22, 2008. Our Adventures in Mexico. Our vacation to the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico was AMAZING! Gina's mom came with us and we all had a blast! We visited a place called XCARET where we saw a lot of wildlife. The kids loved the Scarlet McCaws! The scarlet mccaws loved Gina! They liked to carve into stone and we saw a lot of skulls. Usually I wouldn't take pictures in a cemetery, but in this particular case it was like an art exhibit, the headstones were amazing! And huge sea turtles!
