Make Me a Mirror: October 2012
http://makemeamirror.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Make Me a Mirror. Monday, October 8, 2012. My heart is heavy right now. God is really showing me my need to put myself aside and run toward Him. He is showing me the need to drop my selfish desires and find fulfillment through my hope and joy from salvation in Christ. These words were on my heart from a song tonight. Now, let me say that I am not the same size I was just a few years ago. So, I have a collection of suits from Dillard's that I bought for at least 75% off.because I could.and they are mostly 1's and 3's. I am NOT a 1 nor a 3! What to do. What to do. Now that there's a little space in my closet. Wednesday, January 28, 2009.

Tuesday, February 17, 2009. V-Dayand then it's just downhill. Well, who was my valentine? Try 16 teenagers at a debate tournament ALL weekend. Darn those kids. They kept winning. And they didn't have enough judges so I had to judge EVERY round.including one round of CX. I hate CX! I'd rather poke pens in my eyes. I thought about doing that because then I couldn't write out the ballot so I wouldn't have to judge, but they said they were so short of judges I'd have to judge anyway. I Failed a Test? For tho...

Make Me a Mirror: November 2012
http://makemeamirror.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
Make Me a Mirror. Wednesday, November 21, 2012. This month is the Thanksgiving holiday, and while I'm thankful all year, I'd like to post a daily thing I am thankful for this month. I'm starting a few days late, and I may miss a day, but that's ok. I'll just make it up when I can! Actually, most people are doing this on their facebook statuses, but for some reason I'm kind of stubborn and when I see everyone else doing something, I don't want to do it that way.lol. Day 4 - Washer/Dryer - I'm thankful for...

Monica's Musings: She's Number 1! She's Number 1!
http://monicasimonds.blogspot.com/2009/06/shes-number-1-shes-number-1.html
Tuesday, June 2, 2009. Who's daughter is the Distrist 9 5A First Team All-District Centerfielder? That would be me! Yep, she did it in spite of my genes. Pumpkin was so proud of herself she spent an hour on the phone calling all the grandparents and uncles and anyone else who would listen. If only getting an A would mean that much to her. PS Still waiting on the results of my second interview. June 3, 2009 at 11:32 AM. How did the second interview go? When is school out? June 3, 2009 at 7:38 PM.

Friday, March 27, 2009. Day SEVEN, EIGHT and NINE! We did it. We bought the car. It's a 1999 BMW 528i.which probably doesn't mean much to most of you. Here's what I know.it's SAFE! It has so many airbags and these steel beams in the doors so Pumpkin is safer than in a smaller or older car without those features. It even has a CD changer in the trunk.remember when they put them there? Yea, now she just needs a license.and a job! That insurance isn't going to pay itself! Day Five AND Six! And then it was "...

It's the first day of school. And somehow I don't have babies anymore. Little Man is in first grade. And he didn't need me to walk him in. It takes me back to the days of the nursery in First Baptist Church, Bryan, Texas when Julie Hamilton would spend the whole church time walking my crying babies. Eldest would get so worked up walking into church that he would throw-up before I could drop him off in the toddler room. I remember thinking about how much I wish they would be okay being left. I honestly th...
