Posted by ct at 9:44 午前. Links to this post. We went to Omiya Koen today, where hanami was in full effect. Hanami is the name for eating and drinking under the cherry trees with your friends. It looks pretty fun. If anyone's up for some High Park Hanami when we get home, let us know and we'll hook you up. Most of the pictures are 1 month old. These guys are Oscar's buddies. Luca is 4 months older than Oskie. He is 8 months old now. He can crawl very well and he can stand with help. I really like him a lot. We are not going to see them until we come back from Japan. We are leaving in one week, and we are going to be there for 3 months. Which is made of wood and shaped like a big hammer and. Which is a large sized wooden mortar. To use Kine and Usu is a traditional way to make the rice cake we call Mochi. It`s a lots of work to make Mochi this way, but he and his friend did it. It was really tasty and fun to talk to old friends and new friends! Oscar has started eating solid food. This is the first time I've cut a jack-o-lantern in maybe ten years or something. What the hell was I waiting for? It was crazy fun. I feel like a very low budget version of Tim Burton. Wakaba did the big minimalist scary-looking one with no nose. Mine are the goofy smiling guy and the skull and crossbones. Wakaba is sewing Oscar's first Hallowe'en costume right now.
