Tuesday, July 18, 2006. We’re here, we’re home! But do you know what’s really gross? When we went into our bedrooms, there were fleas jumping all over us! So we had to sleep in the RV again and we bombed the house so lots of the fleas died. We got our birds back when we came home and we got Edison back the second day we were home. Friday, June 30, 2006. We completed our tour through Yellowstone on friday and drove through the magnificant Grand Tetons. An incredible view from anywhere! Friday, September 30, 2011. Mary Jane Visits Kira. Who’d a thought, Children’s Hospital prescribing pot? I had the pleasure of being with Kira all day while Linda took a break. It’s funny; we switch out shortly after the nurses do their shift change out. Kira slept most of the day and didn’t eat a thing, but she did drink lots of Gatorade and water which was excellent. If you get behind, I guess it’s nearly impossible to get rid of the nausea until the chemo exits your system. We are learning so much.

Sunday, July 10, 2011. We are still alive! Well, the daily blog updating didn’t pan out. We are having too much fun (and didn’t have Internet connectivity for much of the travels). Our trip is going extremely well and we are enjoying excellent summer weather. The credit card is still working, so we are continuing on! Here is an update for Days 4 through 11. We still have 5 days to go! Seeing and meeting all the extended family was so cool. What a wonderful time on a gorgeous Sunday! Day 5 - July 4th!

Saturday, September 15, 2012. This is Why I'm Walking. I just wanted to let you know how I’m doing, it’s been a little over a year since I was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma and I am doing great! I had no idea so much could happen in a year. I guess being diagnosed with cancer at 16 and then becoming a cancer survivor at 17 is an impressive thing to put on college resumes. The Light the Night Walk is in two weeks, and I will be there walking and also sharing my story. I am walking for Ruby this year.
