Beautiful Words: Surgery Update #1
http://hannah-gun.blogspot.com/2008/06/surgery-update-1.html
Tuesday, June 17, 2008. I've been home since. Deal Everyone has been so helpful. I have gotten so many wonderful presents and meals. Mom has really appreciated the help. I should be back at church on Sunday. Yea! I am finally able to get out of the house. Yesterday Mom and I went to Kohl's and she had to push me around in the wheel chair because I couldn't. That's all for now. I will. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I enjoy going to the movies and to the pool, and I love to hang out with friends.

Beautiful Words: May 2007

Friday, May 25, 2007. Another Story I Wrote For School. I looked in my rear view mirror only to see red and blue lights flashing behind me. I thought. I started to turn my steering wheel towards the shoulder of the road. The cop car behind me stopped and a big, husky man stepped out. He strutted towards my car like him pulling me over was the highlight of my day. I slowly rolled down my window. His uniform was freshly pressed and his badge shone, but he was as hairy as a monster! I frantically asked....

a little bit of this...: I like reading?!
http://paisleyparchment.blogspot.com/2009/02/i-like-reading.html
Tuesday, February 10, 2009. I have read 4 or so books since Christmas. For me this is unheard of! I didn't enjoy reading until my Junior year at Baylor. I feel like I missed out on some great things by not being reader when I was younger. Better late than never I guess. Anyways, I am attempting to read the Alchemist right now. Whomever said it was "amazing" was WrOnG! Movie popcorn sounds pretty good right about now. Posted by Holly Duke. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Wednesday, July 30, 2008. I, along with my Hello Kitty sewing machine, made a lap quilt! I just wanted to see if I could do it and am pretty happy with the turnout. I used Amy Butler's Midwest Modern fabric. I just love the colors! Now that Britt and I have completed all of these projects I think it's time for a little break. Off to Atlanta we go! Be back next week! Posted by Holly Duke. Thursday, July 24, 2008. 50 simple things kids can do. Posted by Holly Duke. Wednesday, July 23, 2008. This was quite ...

a little bit of this...: August 2008
http://paisleyparchment.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 25, 2008. I have a fear of going to the bank. Have I ever told you that I have a fear of the bank? Somehow every time I go, I do something wrong. Lately this fear has been amplified at Wells Fargo because my account says Holly Jones and my ID says Holly Duke. Geez. Sometimes Britt offers up the idea that I should be a bank teller for some extra cash. How can I work there if I can't even make a successful trip through the drive-thru? One day I will grow up. One day. Posted by Holly Duke.

Friday, March 27, 2009. So i didn't win the giveaways but. I got a haircut! I am just soo excited to have all of that hair gone! My hair was past my shoulder blades. I think i got about 7 inches off. I probably lost a lb. of hair. My Wii fit will be so proud! I am super excited about that since we have little to no plans this weekend. My main objective is to finish book one of Twilight. Then, perhaps, I will watch the movie? Posted by Holly Duke. Monday, March 16, 2009. Baggu Grosgrain Guest GIVEAWAY!

Wednesday, May 28, 2008. Mr and Mrs. Chad Zellner! Aren't they beautiful people? I had the best Memorial Day weekend with these 2 (and the other 17-18 in the bridal party)! This wedding was unique for me to be a part of because I not only know and adore the bride, but I know and love the groom, too! It was wonderful. Congrats guys! UPDATE on previous post. I brewed my own snicker-roo coffee at home the other morning. It is rumored that I may be receiving a CG coffee mug for my birthday? Dilemma #2: The i...

Standing Out in the Cold: January 2007
http://standingoutinthecold.blogspot.com/2007_01_01_archive.html
Standing Out in the Cold. Tuesday, January 16, 2007. Congressmen as Presidential Candidates. Get off my back, I'm busy these days. In the history of the U.S. 15 senators have become president. Only two - Harding and Truman - moved straight from the senate to the White House. And JFK is the only other to do it with less than 2 years between. Here's the link. Here are some interesting facts:. 4 presidents held only the office of representative. 6 presidents held none of these offices. The office of senator.

Standing Out in the Cold: Lots of Money
http://standingoutinthecold.blogspot.com/2007/04/lots-of-money.html
Standing Out in the Cold. Monday, April 02, 2007. Whoa, am I posting again? I just have a quick question: what would happen if a presidential candidate donated their tens of millions of dollars. To feeding hungry children, or curing AIDS, or developing alternative fuel sources even, rather than spending it on campainging? Or would it just spell the end of their hopes in this whoever-spends-the-most-money-wins political system we have today? I'm pretty sure it would constitute fraud. Variations of a Theme.
