Colorado Carringtons in Indiana. Thursday, June 9, 2011. What a fun weekend! We colored eggs, made Easter cookies, went to a local Easter Egg Hunt, had a wonderful Easter dinner at the Thompson's (Patti's sister's family), and the Easter Bunny came to our house and hid our eggs! Saturday, March 13, 2010. We registered Kate for preschool a few weeks ago. Kate is very excited about starting school. She loves to go to the playground there. Sunday, March 13, 2011. February 7th - Ski Trip. On Mark's birthday, we took Kate up skiing for her first time. She was really excited, but didn't really understand what we were taking her to do. Here she is as we were pulling out of the driveway. We had a great lunch at Kickapoo in Keystone before getting skis and heading up the mountain. Mark got Kate all geared up. Saturday, October 31, 2009. Time with Mimi and Papa. Mimi and Papa were just here for a visit. We had a great time. I wish we all lived closer and could do this more often! We got about 3 feet of snow while Mimi and Papa were here, and their flight home got canceled. We were happy to have them for an extra day though. Kate got to really play in the snow for the first time. She wanted to make a snowman, but the snow was too powdery, and we couldn't get one started. Maybe next time. Monday, October 19, 2009.

Kate picked out a carrot cake, but we discovered it had raisins. Eeeeewwww. Raisins do not belong in cake. Period. Mark ended up smooshing.
