I typically buy the same vegetables at the grocery store every Sunday and figure out what protein or leftover I'll serve them with later. Running in the store for some ground turkey after work is easier than strict meal planning for me. Tonight's dinner was particularly satisfying (and I remembered to photograph it)! Saturday, July 5, 2014. Happy 4th of July. We had a good time at Sunnyfest the week before the 4th. The kids had a lot of fun playing in the bounce houses and the train ride. On the 4th, we had Levi's family over for a cookout and then headed to Harry Myers Park for fireworks. Turns out you should plan a little ahead for that, traffic was so bad and backed up we decided to just stop in downtown and hope for the best. We saw fireworks but not the best view ever! Lesson learned for next year.
