Trees for a Better Tomorrow. How we grow our trees. Native trees are purchased as bare root seedlings (no containers) from tree seedling nurseries. They are then planted in small pots (approximately 3/4 gallon) in primarily a bark mulch and peat moss potting soil. In the second year they are transplanted into pots two to three gallons in size with a rich organic potting mixture. Often in the third or fourth year they are transplanted again in four to five gallon pots. Trees make the world of difference.
