So Much to Say, So Little Time. Wednesday, May 15, 2013. Jesus Loves the Little Children". Fruit juice, animal crackers, play-dough, and glitter-glue permanently stain the short tables in every room, but the sound of children singing "Jesus Loves Me" can no longer be heard. Our Church has no children. Even with the great exodus of young couples, our budget is in its best shape ever. Our covered-dish cooks are also wonderful, which is a good thing since we're serving a lot more funeral luncheons.

Thursday, September 10, 2009. Fishin on the River - the Salmon are coming. We have been to the river 2 times so far. The first was in our boat and we didn't have the right set up or bait. But it was sunny and warm. The second time we went we had the right bait. sandshrimp. We didn't take the boat since we went with friends. We were fishing on the sandbar and still didn't have MUCH luck. We had a few bites but couldn't get one to stay on the hook. Here is the sandshrimp. Tammy came to visit with Mungi.

In December, Kerry's dad and his wife came to visit. It was not my best day. Our oven was being kind of fluky. Sometimes it would take FOREVER to get hot. Well, the morning of That Day the oven did. Get hot. And when the oven gets hot, you bake. We had various Christmas events coming, so I got busy. I think I baked seventeen. It was not his best day.
