Sam's Blog: Sustainability Survives

http://www.hiddenhobbit.blogspot.com/2007/04/sustainability-survives.html

Monday, April 23, 2007. Sustainability was a big topic at our school last week Friday. We had a fair displaying all the different ways you can become more sustainable. It also had mind blowing numbers. Did you know if you wanted to power a T.V. with a bicycle it would take five people. Who would have guessed a hair dryer takes twelve times as much energy as that T.V? It can be very easy to ease up on your CO2 consumption. Biking or commuting with someone 3 days for work would save one ton.

Sam's Blog: Bottom from A Midsummer Night's Dream

http://www.hiddenhobbit.blogspot.com/2007/05/bottom-from-midsummer-nights-dream.html

Thursday, May 3, 2007. Bottom from A Midsummer Night's Dream. What is Pyramus––a lover or a tyrant? A lover that kills himself most gallant for love. That will ask some tears in the true performing of it. If I do, let the audience look to their eyes. I will move storms; I will condole in some measure. To the rest,–– Yet my chief humor is for a tyrant. I could play Ercles rarely, or a part to tear a cat in, to make all split;. This was lofty. Now name the rest of the players. Thursday, February 22, 2007. Mr Watson gave us for homework the task to write about a superhero that is someone whose characteristics you value. The superhero that I think has great values is Spider-Man, a wall crawling, and web-slinging guy, but also a hero with high morals. Spider-Man is a great person, even though he isn't real. He was created to be an entertaining character, but ends up like many super heroes by showing values and morals on how to be a good guy, not one of the villains. Enviroment:Hi...

http://sierraaa.blogspot.com/2007/05/act-2-hermia-action.html

Monday, May 7, 2007. Act 2 - Hermia (ACTION! In Act 1, I learned a lot about how disobedient and stubborn Hermia is and her reasons for why she doesn't listen to her father. Act 2 however expresses more about the type of person that Hermia is. Act 2 ends with Hermia waking and realizing that Lysander has left her all alone. Her strong-minded and confident personality comes out again as she declares that she will find him wherever he is even if she is risking her life out in the woods. Posted by Sierra J.

Saturday, April 21, 2007. Everyday people go about using different types of things for their own personal needs. But do we ever think about how our actions are affecting Earth? On Friday, April 19 my school held a small 'fair' where the purpose was to create awareness of the resources that we use everyday and how we can reduce the amount of something we use, Etc to help our planet in some way. Around the entire 'fair' there were plenty posters that had different "Did you know? 4 yrs - Paper. This is the ...

Thursday, May 10, 2007. Another part that I like is the part of Hermia. My favorite scene with Hermia is in act one, scene one. I like the part in when she is talking to Lysander about their love. I like this part because it seems like such a realistic situation and they are talking about a matter that is so true, true love. The lines that I like in this act and scene are lines 130-182. After completing our flatworld writing project, here are some of my ideas on this project:. 1 What did you like best about the project and why? 2 What did you like least and why? The part of this project I liked the least was the way the feedback system was set up. It was sometimes confusing on who to give feedback to and when feedback was due to the other students. 4 How do you think the project affected your writing? The most challenging part of thi...
