Tuesday, February 15, 2011. Love and a Birthday. Yesterday was a big day in the Thompson household, not only was it Valentines Day but it was also Mike's birthday! I have always been a birthday lover and love to make big deals about birthdays, and seeing how Mike's birthday lands on a holiday I had to make it extra special. Sunday, September 18, 2011. Last weekend Mike and I decided to take a trip down to Pullman and watch a Cougs game. Mike did what he always does and waits until we get to the game to get tickets aka getting them from scalpers. I hate when he does that! Thursday, January 20, 2011. Recently I have become obsessed with making cupcakes! They are the latest fad but I have loved cupcakes forever they have always been my favorite. I work with a couple of other gals who love cupcakes so we are always bouncing cupcake ideas off of each other. We want to open a cupcake shop someday. Tuesday, June 21, 2011. I am going to be an aunt! My sister in law (Kari) is due in December! I have recently found that I love to make treats! I am finally getting around to posting some pictures. I made these for one of our doctor's 50th birthday, chocolate cupcakes with white chocolate chips topped with chocolate frosting (all from scratch). Baby ice cream cones, made with itty bitty ice cream cones with a chocolate dipped marshmallow. Chocolate cupcakes with peanut butter frosting (yum).
