Congratulating Sammy for jumping over the stream. Wall of ice our arrival in the parking. Hydration packs are not so good in the winter! We made our way to the lake enjoying the winter landscape. I was warm and cozy with my 3 layers, but the girls’ apparently had a bit of cold legs, I wonder why? In the future, NO MORE COTTON!

It turned out to be a GREAT weather day. Cool morning breeze. We had 37 hikers. We went into 2 separate groups. Joe led one group and I led the other group. Amazingly all finishing at the same time.
