Greek civilization first emerged on the island of Crete, with the city of Knossos. This civilization was called the Minoan civilization. Apparently, Minoans lived the sweet life, and art was important. Military power was unimportant, and priests probably headed the civilization. But in 1500 BC, some disaster occurred, and mainlanders.

Angel Alexander - Devil Alexander. Alexander the Great was. not so great. He was ruthless, killing even his own father (Philip II, conqueror of the Greek City States) to achieve his means. As he gained more power, he cruelly forced his officers to take Persian wives, even if they had wives at home. He even attempted to deify himself, forcing his subjects to kiss his hand.
