香港歷史,小故事,趣事,習俗,文化,傳說. 有近百年歷史的港島大潭篤水塘，與附近21項水利設施均被列為法定古蹟。香港大學聯同技術潛水員，去年到大潭篤水塘一帶探索，潛入一個有百年歷史的海邊古井，窺探當年大潭篤水塘選址的秘密。研究人員驚歎當年建井用料及手工之精細，令這些古井經歷百年風吹雨打，至今屹立不倒。 香港大學聯同香港水下考古總會和香港技術潛水總會，於去年10月開始，在大潭篤水塘對開海面，對大潭港沿岸原有的6口約建於1902至1904年間的古井展開研究，其中兩口於多年前被運英泥船撞毁。研究人員相信，該批古井當年是用作勘探大潭港地質，了解該處是否適合興建大潭篤水塘水壩。 香港大潭港的大潭篤水塘於1912年興建，至今已有百年歷史。大潭篤水塘位於今天大潭篤村後面，不遠處是舊日礦場土地灣村。據當地村民所說，100年前的大潭篤村本在今天大潭篤水塘的位置。考查1914年的立法局會議紀錄，證實當年因興建大潭篤水塘共需遷移76名大潭篤村村民。當中鍾氏家族村民更被遷移至柴灣。 薄扶林水塘、大潭水塘群、黃泥涌水塘、九龍水塘、. 城門（ 銀禧） 水塘和香港仔水塘的文物價值 (古蹟諮詢委員會). 這場風災發生於1874年9月2...
