History with Mr. C

History with Mr. C. Sunday, September 21, 2014. Changing the subject, based on some of the cross-stitching projects that I have done in the last several years, it would be really nice if I could do it for a living, or at least a supplemental form of income. Unfortunately I don't think cross-stitched pictures are in high demand like painted works or sculptures. I wouldn't even know how much one of my cross-stitching jobs would be worth. What do you think? Made for one of my best friends, Matt Mahler.

History with Mr. C: Thee Abraham Lincoln

http://www.historywithmisterc.blogspot.com/2012/11/thee-abraham-lincoln.html

History with Mr. C. Thursday, November 22, 2012. So today I went to see Steven Spielberg's LINCOLN. I knew the overall synopsis of the movie as far as what it was about, but I really didn't know what to expect beyond that. There are three points that I would like to make about this movie. The first is that I definitely do not know that much about Abraham Lincoln as I thought I did. The book that the film was based on, Team of Rivals. Is now on my list to read once I get done with re-reading The Hobbit.

History with Mr. C: Two Great Songs. One Great Band.

http://www.historywithmisterc.blogspot.com/2012/02/two-great-songs-one-great-band.html

History with Mr. C. Monday, February 20, 2012. Two Great Songs. One Great Band. So I am a fan of Daughtry. I am not a die hard fan that has everything Daughtry hanging up in my room, but a fan none the less. There are two songs of theirs that are deep. They are kind of sad, but DEEP. For your reading pleasure, here are the lyrics to these two songs. Open Up Your Eyes". A single rose left to remember. As a single tear falls from her eye. Another cold day in December. A year from the day she said goodbye.
