The Adventures of the Faterkowski Family: November 2014
http://faterkowskifamily.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Saturday, November 29, 2014. Emerson loved practicing and performing her Veteran's Day song for us. The program at school was changed from outside to inside due to the weather so we were not allowed to attend due to fire code. Both kids were dressed and ready to sing on that day! Landon not as much as he is not our performer like Emerson. We are going to try a choir program in the spring for her called Texas Stars Youth Choir that I know she will love. So far, so good! And December is more of the same!

just between you and me: Heber Getaway
http://blog.humphriez.com/2015/07/heber-getaway.html
Wednesday, July 8, 2015. Our family decided to go back to Heber, UT once again this summer. There is a great RV resort we discovered last year and chose to spend a few days there again. The Mountain Valley RV Park has a great swimming pool and hot tub. The kids spend quite a few hours playing in the water on the days that we were there. I learned that there is a 10:1 ratio between milk and cheese. It takes 10 lbs of milk (about 5 qt) yields one 1lb of cheese. That is why cheese is so expensive. The next ...

Saturday, February 28, 2015. Jason's Trip to Japan. Of course flying in business class made things more enjoyable.5 course meals, wine, etc! Thank goodness for Skype as we talked to him face to face 2-3 times a day as well as texting, e-mail, and cell phones. We had to work out a routine with Japan being 15 hours ahead of us but we fell into a good routine that worked. So glad for technology. Japanese garden at his hotel. Everywhere was super clean and well taken care of. Mount Fugi from the plane. 5 Day...

The Adventures of the Faterkowski Family: October 2014
http://faterkowskifamily.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Thursday, October 30, 2014. The kid's school had their annual big fundraiser, Boosterthon, on a nice cool morning. Emerson ran first and she completed 33 of the 35 laps. She decided to socialize with her friend Anna and a group of boys (she is on a first name basis with every boy at school and on our street! We got a lot of great pictures between the three of us! Landon's race was up next and he ran all 35 laps straight through with no water breaks or slowing down. All serious business! I am married to t...

The Adventures of the Faterkowski Family: August 2015
http://faterkowskifamily.blogspot.com/2015_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 31, 2015. First Day of 2nd and 4th Grade! I know I say this at the beginning of every school year, but boy does the time fly by. When the kids were babies the thought of elementary school seemed SO far off in the distant future. And now middle school will be here for Landon before we know it. Yikes, I think I'm going to just go crawl under a rock now and never come out! After school Emerson decided that Piggy needed some math homework! Thursday, August 27, 2015. We also crammed in a visit ...

http://blog.humphriez.com/2014/04/i-finally-finished-these-adorable-baby.html
Sunday, April 6, 2014. Crochet: Baby Flower Sandals Pattern. I finally finished these adorable baby girl sandals. I used Whistle and Ivy. S pattern for Bitty Bow Baby Sandals but chose to add a flower embellishment to the top instead of the bow. They are for sale on my Etsy shop. Or you can make them by following the pattern provided. Here is the pattern for the flower and leaf, if you choose to add those to the top instead:. I used Caron Simply Soft Acrylic Yarn and a 4mm hook. April 6, 2014 at 1:15 PM.

http://faterkowskifamily.blogspot.com/2015/08/3rd-annual-girls-trip.html
Monday, August 3, 2015. 3rd Annual Girl's Trip. The last weekend in July I went on my 3rd annual girl's trip with my dear friends Michelle, Jennifer, and Tammy to the Hyatt Lost Pines Resort in Bastrop, Texas. We call this place our happy place. It's amazing! And checked out the animals, gardens, and the Colorado River. We then relaxed in the lobby and played a charades game using our phones that is just like Head Bands. Super fun! Jason doesn't understand how this trip is "fun".it's a mom's dream! And a...
