Hold the Lemon

My attitude is sour enough. Wednesday, February 16, 2011. Stick to what you know. I'm thinking, I love their cardigans and matchstick jeans. Using a clothing company's name on a shoe is a sneaky ploy to convince people their shoes are just as high-quality as their clothing, so the company can get away with charging way too much. Maybe it is a better quality shoe; I've never actually tried a pair on. But I think I'll stick to my $30 Nine West pumps. And that's all I have to say about that. In honor of Val...

Hold the Lemon: Oh, happy day

http://www.holdthelemon.blogspot.com/2010/10/oh-happy-day.html

My attitude is sour enough. Friday, October 8, 2010. Oh, happy day. I know this might throw you off — and completely go against everything I and this blog stand for — but, darn it, I'm in a good mood and I want you all to know about it. What's the reason for the mood? So thank you, candle, for helping me see some potential in a drab, cold day and putting warmth in my heart and a smile on my face. Burn on, candle. Burn on. And that's all I have to say about that. October 8, 2010 at 9:22 AM. Oh, happy day.

Hold the Lemon: Why don't you just move, squirrel?

http://www.holdthelemon.blogspot.com/2010/09/why-dont-you-just-move-squirrel.html

My attitude is sour enough. Thursday, September 23, 2010. Why don't you just move, squirrel? Does anyone really like squirrels? Dogs chase them. Cats hiss at them. Birds fly from them. Humans shake their keys at them to get them to go away. (I know I'm not the only one who does that.). And that's all I have to say about that. September 23, 2010 at 9:25 AM. Not to mention theyre related to rats, those vile creatures. And WTF is up with these multicolored squirrels? Here theyre black, gray, brown. Ugh.

Hold the Lemon: Big Hair Movement

http://www.holdthelemon.blogspot.com/2010/09/big-hair-movement.html

My attitude is sour enough. Tuesday, September 28, 2010. With super hot temperatures in the Washington, D.C., area comes notorious summer humidity. This year, starting extra early in June, my curly hair has been expanding in width. It's like humidity is shaking its middle finger in my face, saying "Let's see whether your boyfriend will stick around after he sees your frizzy hair, Big Head! Or "Poison's calling and they need their big hair back for their reunion tour.". How lucky am I? Texture Not Welcome...

Hold the Lemon: August 2010

http://www.holdthelemon.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html

My attitude is sour enough. Tuesday, August 31, 2010. There I am, sitting on the bleachers at the Little League World Series championship game, enjoying an American-flag-colored popsicle that turned my lips blue and made me look goth. (By the way, I so. It's a great solution to the problem, but it wasn't my decision to make. And that's all I have to say about that. Friday, August 27, 2010. It's Friday and I'm working a half day today to head to the Little League World Series this weekend, so I decided to...

https://pittgirly.wordpress.com/2011/09/12/once-you-learn-to-read-you-will-be-forever-free

September 12, 2011 / Chrisi. Once you learn to read, you will be forever free. When I was a kid, I read voraciously. When my dad was tired of seeing me sitting in the house reading, he would tell me to go outside. So I would obediently move to our porch swing and would remain out there until it was time to come inside and get ready for bed. We were all lucky- we had parents and teachers in our lives who instilled in us the joy of reading:. How do we change this? Put a ring on it.or share it! You are comm...

Just the tip of the iceberg, folks-. I’m easily annoyed with stupid people, I don’t mind spending $5 on a well-made coffee-type beverage if it’s going to be good (I’m talkin’ chai lattes here, people), and I love my job. I don’t use my degree in rhetoric at work (shocking), so I get my. I enjoy knocking on strangers’ doors, and think there is nothing in this world more exhilerating or fun than registering voters. Sunday, December 25, 2011. Just popping in to say I haven't forgotten this blog! I'm still planning to write a top 10 things I miss (and don't miss) about Korea list, and put a comprehensive photo slide show on here (as soon as I figure out how to make one). Enjoy your holiday season, and have a happy new year! Tuesday, August 30, 2011. But this time not because I'm sick! Not that I wound up going home from that, after all, but that's another story. Hold The Light | a starting point for a personal faith

A starting point for a personal faith. Why “Hold the Light”? Rooted and Established – The Start of a Relationship. December 18, 2007. Dec 18 – Made New. This time of year seems to invite people to consider where they are spiritually. There is more quiet time than usual (or maybe the quiet just seems louder because everyone gets so busy) and that quiet sometimes gets us to thinking. What does it mean to invite God to be a part of my life? Is that something I’m ready to do? They hold the plant in place&#46...
