Brush Strokes and Stitches. Hello, welcome to my little corner on the web. I am a lifelong crafter. Some kind of stitching, whether by hand or machine, is usually included in most of what I do. I also enjoy painting, which I do on reclaimed items, to give them new life and meaning. I love what I do, and I hope you do also. Thanks for stopping by. Donna. Tuesday, October 26, 2010. Look at my SURPRISE! I want to thank Judy of Holly Ridge Creations ( http:/ hollyridgecreations.blogspot.com/. My husband and ...

My Creations.and Other Stuff. I changed my font at thecutestblogontheblock.com. Monday, August 17, 2009. Who's Got the Button Fairy? What do you think? Do you like her? Do you think it's a strange thing to make button fairies using clip art images of children and/or women and butterfly wings or in some case fairy wings? Would love to hear your honest take on Button Fairies. Really, I would. =). QUOTE OF THE DAY:. Faeries, come take me out of this dull world,. For I would ride with you upon the wind,.

Glenn Family Reunion 2010. We had a family reunion this past weekend at Bull Shoals Lake. We had a BLAST! We left Friday and came home Sunday afternoon. I'm sure hoping we do this reunion thing every year. It was really nice getting together with family that we don't see that often. The pic above is from the porch of the cabin we shared with my parents, sister, and nieces. It was a beautiful place! Well, I am a pool girl and now a Bull Shoals Lake girl. The water there was AWESOME. I LOVED it! My hubby w...

A brief summary of MCRD. It is hard to believe that my oldest son is a Marine! It has been a roller coaster ride of emotions. He left the 18th of October for MCRD (Marine Corps Recruit Depot) in San Diego. He called that evening from the USO to let us know he made it safely. We didn't hear from him again until October 28th.his 19th birthday. We received two letters from him that day.mail being our main means of communication for the next 13 weeks! He was well and looking forward to the next few weeks!

Monday, October 19, 2009. Oh so perfect for autumn! This wonderful autumn themed wooden box is perfect to add that special touch to your home this season. The leaves, acorns, drieds and prim pumpkin are a traditional part of this time of year. I like the homespuns that were mixed and added for that timeless homey feeling. This would be outstanding in any home, primitive, country, modern and more. Tradition always has a place. You can see it at: http:/ www.artfire.com/modules.php? Monday, October 5, 2009.
