Holmfirth Art and Music. Holmfirth, “the Festival Town” features a series of Festivals throughout the year from the Brass Band weekend in April to the Musical Festival in October. The Holmfirth Musical Festival was founded in the 1940s, the Holmfirth Choral Society in the 1930s and the Holme Valley Brass Band Contest can trace its roots back to the 1920s. Welcome to one of the most successful and enduring badminton clubs in Huddersfield. Season 2014 to 2015. September through to March. The start of season club nights are Wednesday 3rd, Monday 8th, Wednesday 10th, Monday 15th, Wednesday 17th [September]. The 'normal' week then commences on Monday 22nd with matches being played on Wednesdays. We play our badminton at Honley High School and College, Station Road, Honley, HD9 6QJ.
