Wednesday, August 29, 2012. Religious Hostility in America. Against Christians. It's happening, folks, not just in New Hampshire and Connecticut, but right here in Texas! This is a new website put up a couple weeks ago, but the Liberty Institute, who represents Christians whose rights are being stifled in the work place, in public schools, in colleges, and even in their own private homes! Holding myself back from that one for now, lol.). Here is the link. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Reformed Ragamuffin: Politics: October 2012

Thursday, October 4, 2012. The Choice in November (& is not voting a choice? Was trying to find a good comic, but this is all I got. Thoughts on the debate last night. When discussing how to balance the budget, neither candidate talked much about cutting spending! Evidence that Romney is really a liberal: He wants to lower tax exemptions, He "likes green energy", and "You have to have regulations! Best argument of the evening: Obama says a voucher option for Medicare would leave seniors at the mercy of t...

Monday, February 8, 2010. Abortion- the core issue is not choice at all. I am a member of some pregnancy/parenting message boards. I wondered into the "off topic" forum, and they were debated abortion! I made this post. I am getting physically ill reading this and almost had to stop. I am shaking. I think I am TOO sheltered. lol. I will TRY to be calm,. But this is something I feel strongly about. Is being able to survive w/o mom more important than being able to feel pain? This makes me want to cry my e...

Saturday, February 23, 2008. Ron Paul caught in lie. Vietnam is in fact a communist nation. Here are some links to that proof and there are many more:. Http:/ www.indexmundi.com/vietnam/government type.html. Http:/ www.photius.com/wfb2000/countries/vietnam/vietnam government.html. What a crazy thing to say. And it's so obviously wrong and easy to disproove, I was quite shocked. I'll let you know what else I find out. Wednesday, February 13, 2008. Immigration: Which side really is racist?

Reformed Ragamuffin: Kids: Our new Toy/School Room!
http://thewaythingsshouldbechildcare.blogspot.com/2014/09/our-new-toyschool-room.html
Sunday, September 14, 2014. Our new Toy/School Room! I wanted to share our school/toy room. The kids love it as much as I do. :) They share a bedroom, so there are NO toys in there, and then that freed up this room to play in! This is the back right corner. The table and chairs were $30 on Amazon; I want to replace it eventually with a DIY, cute wooden table, but for now, this works. We use it for "table time". I've had this calendar since I taught Pre-K 8 years ago! Front right corner: TV and train table.

Reformed Ragamuffin: Kids: Kindergarten Plans!
http://thewaythingsshouldbechildcare.blogspot.com/2014/05/kindergarten-plans.html
Thursday, May 1, 2014. We have decided to do Kindergarten level with Kruiser next year. His birthday is right after the cut-off so technically he would be in PreK next year, but one good thing about homeschooling is that you can do what you want! We are starting memorization with this catechism this year with K and Skipper (age 2). So excited. :). This lady has written a 4-day-a-week curriculum. A phonics workbook we'll pull from. And, as always, I will read aloud to them. 6-7 wks)- Go on nature walks, f...
