Home Management Ideas: August- Planning Month!
http://homemanagementideas.blogspot.com/2012/08/august-planning-month.html
Tuesday, August 21, 2012. I am putting together a deep cleaning list for each month of the year, stuff that doesn't need doing that often, with different area of focus each month. I try to spend 15 minutes a day on the list (or one item per day). Hope this helps someone! With the coming of the new school year, I have made August "planning month". I am planning, at this point, on home schooling, so that will take a large chunk of the time, but you can use most of these even if you don't. Buy a new planner.

I'm sure you could come up with more of those of your own! Here are some of mine. Change batteries in smoke detectors.

Home Management Ideas: The case for once a week laundry
http://homemanagementideas.blogspot.com/2013/04/the-case-for-once-week-laundry.html
Sunday, April 14, 2013. The case for once a week laundry. I should probably preface by saying that laundry might be my least disliked home keeping chore (did that make sense? But even if it's your MOST disliked, I would think that would even MORE reason to confine to it to 1-2 days! I first heard about focusing on one area of home keeping each day of the week at Large Family Logistics. Reasons to do laundry only once a week. 2 Sort- If we have all full loads, I usually do whites, towels, colors, darks, g...

Desiring God- God-Centered pastor and teaching. Joseph Prince- shouldn't be your sole source of teaching, but AMAZING encouragement. Sermon Audio- huge online sermon database. Friday, June 21, 2013. 2 Kids or 20? The Bible says that children are a blessing and having lots can be even MORE of a blessing. (see Psalm 127:3-5) My husband is from a family of 12, so we know some of what it's like. You're worried about overpopulation. What your kids will do to the planet. Because you're afraid that . Reformed Ragamuffin: Kids: Our new Toy/School Room!
http://thewaythingsshouldbechildcare.blogspot.com/2014/09/our-new-toyschool-room.html
Sunday, September 14, 2014. Our new Toy/School Room! I wanted to share our school/toy room. The kids love it as much as I do. :) They share a bedroom, so there are NO toys in there, and then that freed up this room to play in! This is the back right corner. The table and chairs were $30 on Amazon; I want to replace it eventually with a DIY, cute wooden table, but for now, this works. We use it for "table time". I've had this calendar since I taught Pre-K 8 years ago! Front right corner: TV and train table.

Reformed Ragamuffin: Kids: Kindergarten Plans!
http://thewaythingsshouldbechildcare.blogspot.com/2014/05/kindergarten-plans.html
Thursday, May 1, 2014. We have decided to do Kindergarten level with Kruiser next year. His birthday is right after the cut-off so technically he would be in PreK next year, but one good thing about homeschooling is that you can do what you want! We are starting memorization with this catechism this year with K and Skipper (age 2). So excited. :). This lady has written a 4-day-a-week curriculum. A phonics workbook we'll pull from. And, as always, I will read aloud to them. 6-7 wks)- Go on nature walks, f...

Saturday, August 17, 2013. To Hell and Back, Part 5- Resources. This post has been a long time coming. If you read my story (found here). And struggle with doubting your salvation at all like I did (and still do at times), I wanted to share what has helped me. First and foremost, this video. Then there's this book. I have not liste...

Home Management Ideas: September-October- Let's Declutter!!
http://homemanagementideas.blogspot.com/2012/12/sept-oct-lets-declutter.html
Friday, December 28, 2012. I am putting together a deep cleaning list for each month of the year, stuff that doesn't need doing that often, with different area of focus each month. I try to spend 15 minutes a day on the list (or one item per day). Hope this helps someone! This is my favorite! OK, I know I'm weird, haha. At times, this task can become tedious, but there is just a freeing feeling you get from tossing things you no longer need, creating space, and organizing! The list below tells you what.

Reformed Ragamuffin: Kids: PreK wrap-up, what worked
http://thewaythingsshouldbechildcare.blogspot.com/2014/05/prek-wrap-up-what-worked.html
Thursday, May 1, 2014. PreK wrap-up, what worked. I had good intentions of posting more about our PreK year. But it just didn't happen. So many times I thought, "ooo, I need to get the camera and document this," but then I realized sometimes just enjoying the moment is more important. Like the week he showed me first thing every morning how much our bean sprouts had grown with such excitement, or him reminding ME to have perseverance when I got frustrated with something. Aircraft and Big Machines. Raisin...
