Friday, November 2, 2007. Our Lewis and Clark Lapbook. Our Lewis and Clark lapbooking project is completed! We had a blast and learned so much about these men, the folks that went with them, and their long journey to the Pacific Ocean. Some neat things we learned about were:. Clark joined the army when he was 12 years old. At some points in their travels, they ate dogs to survive. Learned the "why" to the reason France sold the Louisiana Territory. The encountered over 20 Indian Tribes. And so much more!

Friday, May 29, 2009. This month Darin participated in the city youth soccer league. They started a kindergarten program last year as previously soccer was first offered in first grade. For the kindergarten program they just meet for 4 Tuesdays for 45 minutes each. For the first half of the time they learn a few skills and during the second half they split the group in half and play a game. He had a blast! Here are some pics Dan took of him in action.
