At my 12 week ultrasound, we found out that #3 was actually #3 and #4. I’d thought we were having twins! Also, fluid discordance became an issue. How it all started! Passionate about our funny feathered friends! How it all started. We started our journey with 5 allotment chickens, one for each of us. We only wanted hens but 3 of them turned out to be cockerels! We managed to find new homes for the cockerels and went on a hunt shortly after for 3 more hens. We ended up with an amber ranger, a cream legbar and a black rock. Watching hens do their thing is sooo relaxing! Mustn't forget the black silkie and Japanese bantam! Margaret, Barrie and family.

Welcome to my website. Keeping chickens is my hobby, it started a few years ago with just a couple of laying hens and has escalated from there. I now keep a variety of chickens and bantams including some ex-battery hens who all help to keep us supplied with fresh eggs every day.
