Large Fowl - HONEYSUCKLE HENS
http://honeysucklehens.weebly.com/large-fowl.html
The original black Orpington was created and introduced in the late 1880's, but nowadays are available in a variety of colours including blue, lavender, gold laced and buff. They are what is known as a heavy breed, but it is their loose and fluffy feathers which makes them look so large. My main breeding pen consists of Eric the Buff Orpington cockerel and his four wives, they are a happy family and have raised many chicks. Eric and one of his wives. Create a free website. Pekin Bantams - HONEYSUCKLE HENS
http://honeysucklehens.weebly.com/pekin-bantams.html
A group of Pekin Bantams. Pekins are such lovely little birds, they are perfect for beginners and make excellent pets for children as they are so friendly. Pekins are the only true bantam, as there is no large fowl equivalent and are believed to have come from the private collection of the Emperor of Peking, China during the late 19th century. They are quite small at about 8"-10" and are very rounded with a bobbly tail and feathery legs and feet. Create a free website. Create your own free website.

Welcome to Honeysuckle Haven
We bought our first small bit of heaven in 1983 and over the years have purchased land on both sides of our initial 2.5 acres. We now own just shy of 10 acres. The name we chose was derived from our fight with the Honeysuckles to reclaim the property. There were places that the honeysuckle was so thick that the vines were a good 4 inches across at the base. Over the years we have tried a lot of different things. We have raised beds in a row garden, we still use our barrels, and we also have a green h...

Honeysuckle Henry | The Journey of a Mother & Son
April 2, 2015 · 8:28 pm. After a hiatus…. My husband, Spencer, and I found out we were expecting our third child at the beginning of December. According to LMP, my due date would be August 5th. At my 12 week ultrasound, we found out that #3 was actually #3 and #4. I’d thought we were having twins! Also, fluid discordance became an issue. We were monitored weekly until at 16 weeks, TTTS was confirmed. After a fetal echocardiogram at UCSF, we flew to Denver, from the Bay Area, for surgery. It is actually a...
Honeysuckle Hens, pekins, hens, chicks, hatching eggs, pekin - Wakefield, West Yorkshire
How it all started! Passionate about our funny feathered friends! How it all started. We started our journey with 5 allotment chickens, one for each of us. We only wanted hens but 3 of them turned out to be cockerels! We managed to find new homes for the cockerels and went on a hunt shortly after for 3 more hens. We ended up with an amber ranger, a cream legbar and a black rock. Watching hens do their thing is sooo relaxing! Mustn't forget the black silkie and Japanese bantam! Margaret, Barrie and family.
