Stripy sock mad: The Rolly Bag!
http://stripysockmad.blogspot.com/2011/02/rolly-bag.html
Monday, 7 February 2011. Yeah yeah, all I ever do here now is post patterns, but you don't want to listen to me blethering on about nothing all the time? Any way, another free pattern for you, don't say I'm any thing but nice ;-). Inspired by a bag I saw at a recent craft fair, this bag is made from a new yarn called Hoopla, made from selvedge material from t-shirt making. Its a very stretch jersey type material and is surprisingly easy to work with and lends its self to crochet very well! Row 1) DC in 2.

That I made a few weeks ago into a little hanging ornament and here is the result:. A little bit wonky unfortunately but it looks quite cute hanging on my door now I think. I've also been working on my "Whistle While You Work" cross stitch design from Crossstitcher magazine and have made some good progress with that:.

My crafty list of things to do. Friday, 30 March 2012. Decorate your bed with cosy comfy cushions. It seems my house is slowly becoming over run with cushions these days. I'm up to 10 now in the living room now and I only have a 3 seater soft and one are chair! Thankfully my latest batch was shipped off to my sister. I love knitting with upcycled Hooplayarn. The selvedges of cotton and jersey are saved from the bin and instead are wound around cardboard cones and sold as yarn to hand knit and crochet into new products. next-stitch: Chunky crochet basket
http://thenextstitch.blogspot.com/2012/03/chunky-crochet-basket.html
My crafty list of things to do. Tuesday, 20 March 2012. I left London last week with lots of inspiration and various new projects to add to my ever increasing to do list and as promised in my round up post. Here is my first project that can be crossed off said list. I bought some of this really cool up-cycled yarn that is made from the off cuts of jersey stretchy type fabrics from Hooplayarn. I stripped the sides of the basked by just changing colours every few rows. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
