In early June 2014, Janet was diagnosed by MD Anderson with Stage IV Undifferentiated Uterine Cancer. A misdiagnosis from a hospital in Tennessee caused a delay in treatment, leading to a fast spread from her uterus to her pelvic bone and 2 tumors in her liver.
