Ivy Hill Farm: November 2012
http://ivyhillfarm.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
Monday, November 19, 2012. So, it's been WAY too long since I've updated the blog! A LOT has changed since June! It turned out that Phineas and Ferb were both drakes, and Candace and Stacy turned out to be Candace and Steve! So, we traded Phineas and Ferb for 2 female Pekin from a local guy. He said they were both female, so we named them Zoe and Midna. It turns out that Midna is a drake as well! All of our chickens are doing really well! Robbie is our only rooster, thank goodness! Yes, I know it's a lit...

CraftinCowgirl: Slow Cooker Banana Bread
http://craftincowgirl.blogspot.com/2012/10/slow-cooker-banana-bread.html
An account of our crazy country life with kids, horses, crafts, and food! Monday, October 8, 2012. Slow Cooker Banana Bread. I am happy to announce that the Banana Bread has gotten a thumbs up! I think I left it in the slow cooker for about 15 minutes longer than I should have. I took advantage of a little "mom time" and jumped in the shower. I can't pass up those moments! Aside from the bottom sticking to the crock pot, it turned out pretty good! Slow Cooker Banana Bread. 1/2 cup melted butter. Enter yo...

The Best Dinner Rolls (from scratch) | Mom Photographer
https://momphotographer.wordpress.com/2011/12/02/the-best-dinner-rolls-from-scratch
My favorite Link-up parties. 365 1 Self-Portrait Project. How to take Self-Portraits. Buns / Dinner Rolls. The Best Dinner Rolls (from scratch). December 2, 2011. For this recipe I didn’t even use a mixer. I did everything with my hands. I was too anxious to finally taste them that I didn’t want to deal with assembling the mixer. Without butter on top. I used only half of the original recipe and I ended up with 13 rolls. 1 cup whole milk. 1/4 cup sugar 2 tsp to “feed” the yeast. 2 3/4 Tbsp unsalted butter.

Cover and let simmer about 20 minutes. Mash or blend apples. ( I used my food processor). It turned out super yummo! Whew, I passed! If I had a...

Ivy Hill Farm: March 2013
http://ivyhillfarm.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Monday, March 18, 2013. Since our first incubator experience wasn't all that great, we decided that we would try again. We put in 14 duck eggs, 1 goose egg, and 10 chicken eggs. Yesterday our very first duck hatched. And while we at our church function, another one hatched. So now we have one Pekin, and one Mallard/Pekin cross. Posted by That One Girl.
