I'm happy to report that now, nearly 4 months later, she is almost completely healed. There is only a thin line down the side of her face to show that anything had ever happened. She also had some nerve damage, which causes her lower lip on that side to droop, but even that has been improving. View my complete profile.

I believe we never stop learning and I am working on learning more about "finishing" a horse - though I believe a horse is never really finished either! After a lifetime of being around horses I have a lot of experiences to share. Here are a few short stories from 30 years spent loving horses. More to come! Almost an Apartment Arabian. She couldn't be too angry, she knew I would ride if given the chance - despite her warnings. Granddad for his part used to just say Horses are too big to play with . But he was full of horse loving stories of his own. He always said that a horse running was one of the most beautiful things to watch. Diamond in the Rough.
