I was way up on ladders inside the tree while the kids were playing on the green belt behind the house. Cody was long boarding along the path with his uncle. He wiped out and came screaming back to the house. He also scraped up his elbow and had a little cut on his hand but nothing compared to his face. My first thought when I saw his face was."Nice! Perfect for school pictures!

Wednesday, June 20, 2012. Soccer, Spruce Meadows, and Father's Day. Quick update.things have been busy (what else is new) and we are getting ready to be done school and start summer holidays! We went to the Enbridge Cup again at Spruce Meadows. Not so much for the horse jumping, more for the face painting, popcorn, sno cones, BBQ, and birds of prey. Makes for a fun (FREE) night as a family! Jeff works for a good company! I put these in a 3 picture frame so it spelt dad! What a great idea!

Friday, August 31, 2012. 7,500 kms put on our van. 7 states and 2 provinces in 10 days. 30 days total of vacation (only 6 WITHOUT the Husband). 30 degree weather (minus maybe two or three days). Cabin on the lake. Splash Park with friends. Sleeping in until 9 or 10. Cheap hotels and some outlet malls. There is not a lot to do in Reno, but Jeff had all these vacation days at the end of June that he had to use up, and we wanted to break up our drive to California. Kinda old and grungy! Tuesday, September 18, 2012. Shuswap 2012 - picture overload. We had an amazing Summer. The weather was beautiful. Just when it was TOO hot, it would rain for one day to cool things off and then it was 30 again. Can't complain at all! There were hardly any mosquitos this year too!
