Saturday, November 17, 2012. My inspiration, my role model, my friend, my dad. About three weeks ago my dad was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Those two words changed everything, until a week later when we heard it was "not cancer"! He is having surgery on December 5th to have the tumor removed. Monday, April 1, 2013. A lovely weekend in March…. There was this one weekend when I felt like I was a character in the book “If you Give a Mouse a Cookie”. In this book one thing leads to another, which leads to another, etc. One Saturday in March we woke up to beautiful weather. Since it was so nice out we thought we should take the kids to the park. Thursday, September 20, 2012. One week before school started, we were over at Grandma's house picking crab apples in the tree. I was way up on ladders inside the tree while the kids were playing on the green belt behind the house. Cody was long boarding along the path with his uncle. He wiped out and came screaming back to the house. He also scraped up his elbow and had a little cut on his hand but nothing compared to his face. My first thought when I saw his face was."Nice! Perfect for school pictures!
