He Has a Plan. This blog is to document our journey to adopt our precious baby! Tuesday, October 9, 2012. In the state of California, families are required to foster a child for 6 months prior to finalization. Since Sydney is now 6 months old, we are able to start this process! We had our final supervisory meeting with our social worker and got all of the paperwork filled out to take to the court this week. I went to the courthouse today, stood in line for an hour, and got our adoption request filed!

He Has a Plan. This blog is to document our journey to adopt our precious baby! Tuesday, August 7, 2012. I'm 4 Months Old! We still have a fantastic relationship with Sydney's birthmother, which is a blessing to us, but even more of a blessing to Sydney. The Lord has blessed us beyond belief! Sydney is a great sleeper. She sleeps 11-12 hours a night and naps for about 4 hours a day. She is rolling around like crazy and she scoots herself backwards. Her laugh is the sweetest sound in the world!
