My year in the Wilderness. And that's a wrap! I worked as Staff Duty last night, which means that after hours I was in charge for my Battalion. In a nutshell, it's much like being a night watchman and yes about that exciting as well. On the positive side, I get off work in about thirty minutes and I am off all weekend. Though I will sleep most of the day, I am sure. Also, I finally had the time to do some stuff that I had been neglecting, like building this blog and writing some e-mails. My babies at 3!

My year in the Wilderness. What do I do when I do what I do? Well, in a nutshell.I am a trainer, a facilitator and an observer. My official title is 'OC/T' that is Armyese for Observer Controller/Trainer. What does that mean exactly? Well, it means that I am a subject matter expert that evaluates a unit (group of soldiers) ability to perform some basic infantry tasks.
