My year in the Wilderness: Why the wilderness?
http://hunterliggett.blogspot.com/2008/10/why-wilderness.html
My year in the Wilderness. I guess I forgot to point out why my title is one year in the wilderness. this base is on the edge of what is known as the Ventana Wilderness in California. Which is an area of National Forest and mountains to the west of Big Sur. You can learn more about this region by visiting http:/ www.ventanawild.org/. There is a road called Nacimiento Ferguson that runs through the wilderness to the coast, it is an awesome sight to see the ocean from the edge of the mountains!

My year in the Wilderness: November 2008
http://hunterliggett.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
My year in the Wilderness. Today is an important day. It is the most important day of the year, today is Amy's birthday! Happy Birthday Amy, I love you! I wish I was there with you today. Oh and whose idea was it to hold the elections today? I mean really, disconnected politicians and their sycophantic speeches trying to steal attention away from my wifes birthday! My year in the Wilderness. Boom Boom, Boom Boom. Seriously, they are probably one of the main reasons that I love the Army. Blowing stuff up is the most fun and if it actually serves a purpose.well that is even better! In BNCOC, I refreshed myself with explosives training and got to get my hands on a lot of C4, TNT and Dynamite! I won't discuss what I learned on this blog in detail, less there be some terrorist piece of crap reading, but we went over how to rig charges to blow doors open. My babies at 3!

Oh and whose idea was it to hold the elections today? I mean really, disconnected politicians and their sycophantic speeches trying to steal attention away from my wifes birthday! My year in the Wilderness: Burn Baby Burn
http://hunterliggett.blogspot.com/2008/10/burn-baby-burn.html
My year in the Wilderness. I guess one of the first things that you all should know about Hunter Liggett is that it has a tendency to burn. I mean, if you look at the ground wrong you will start a fire. This is a big issue if you are say, shooting machine guns with tracers or throwing around artillery simulators -which are pretty much just 1/4 sticks of dynamite. Well, add in explosives, no rain for 4 months and dry scrub and you have the recipe for a nice burn. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

I am headed out the door now to partake in this meeting.wish me luck. Sounds like you might need something stronger than that! October 28, 2008 at 4:27 PM. October 28, 2008 at 7:31 PM.
