Thursday, June 17, 2010. White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies Jessica Mandile. 1 cup softened butter. 1 cup granulated sugar. 1 cup brown sugar. 2 eggs, slightly blended. In a large bowl, mix:. 2 cups unbleached flour. 1 1/2 cups oatmeal. 1 tsp baking powder. 1 tsp baking soda. 2 TB Ultra Gel. Mix dry ingredients to the creamed mixture. Thursday, June 17, 2010. 1/2 cup pancake mix. 1 tbsp brown sugar. 1 cup powdered sugar. 2 green apples (no substitute). Core and slice apples. Mix together pancake mix, milk, cinnamon and sugar. Dip apple slices in pancake batter then coat well with powdered sugar. Fry in a skillet of canola/vegetable oil heated to medium heat. Thursday, June 17, 2010. 8 medium baking apples. 1/2 cup apple or orange juice. 1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar. 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon. 1 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese. 1/4 cup chopped pecans, toasted. Preheat oven to 350°. Remove cores from apples to within 1/2 in of bottoms of apples; pierce the skins with a sharp knife. Place apples in shallow baking dish. Cinnamon Apple Cranberry Sauce. 2 cups of cranberry juice. 6 oz bag sweetened dried cranberries. 1 cinnamon stick broke in half. 2 Gala apples, peel, cored and diced. 2 tsp of corn starch. In a medium sauce pan combine cranberry juice, cranberries, cinnamon and sugar. Bring to a boil and let cook for 5 minutes. Add apples and cook for another 5 minutes or until dried cranberries have softened and apples are tender, making sure to stir occasionally. Some helpful and fun links.

Thursday, June 17, 2010. 2 tbsp plus 1/2 cup butter. 2 large sweet onions, chopped. 3/4 cup hot water. 1 tbsp beef bouillon granules. 1 cup (4 oz) shredded swiss cheese. 8 sheets phyllo dough (14"x9"). In skillet, melt 2 tbsp butter over medium heat. Add onions and sugar and cook 15 mins, stirring frequently. Stir in water and bouillon. Bring to a boil.
