Chaos & Cuteness: November 2009
http://smithchaosandcuteness.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
November 22, 2009. James is already 4! How did that happen? On James' birthday we took our first family trip to Disneyland! We got to meet "the Man" (or more appropriatly, "The Mouse"). It was the fulfillment of a life long dream for Mr. James - Piper didn't quite know what to make of him. James' favorite ride was Autotopia - he was a very crazy driver but he did try very hard - look at the focus on his cute little face. It was a crazy ride but SO MUCH fun! We rode on the Monorail - in the cone! Steve an...

Chaos & Cuteness: October 2011
http://smithchaosandcuteness.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
October 11, 2011. Chapter Books and Dance Classes. Yesterday was a great day in the Smith house. James read his very first chapter book (48 pages) and Piper went to her first solo dance class. James read High Rise Private Eyes: The Case of the Missing Monkey. There were a few words that he came across that he had a little trouble with but he worked through them and is really reading like a champ. They are really growing up fast - remind me again how that happened. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Chaos & Cuteness: James is a 1st Grader
http://smithchaosandcuteness.blogspot.com/2011/09/james-is-1st-grader.html
September 7, 2011. James is a 1st Grader. Here's our big 1st Grader! It is harder for me to wrap my head around having a 1st grader than it was to have a kindergartner - it just seems to official to write a number in "grade level" instead of a letter. He has come such a long way from the little guy we sent off last year. Here he is with all the other little munchkins in his class - our neighbors Jimmy, Eaven, and Jasmine are in his class too. Chaos & Cuteness: March 2011
http://smithchaosandcuteness.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
March 23, 2011. 13th Article of Faith - Bragging. Okay - So since I was called to serve in Young Women's I have stretched and sometimes flexed my creative muscles. This year's theme is the 13th Article of Faith, I finally found an extra few minutes to finish this and I know I might be bragging but I Love This. I'm going to print it out on cardstock and get it laminated for each of my girls so they can keep it in their scriptures or where ever. What do you think? March 16, 2011. Lets Go Fly a Kite. Chaos & Cuteness: April 2011
http://smithchaosandcuteness.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
April 21, 2011. Piper had to have her upper frenulum clipped so she could "smile big". Because she is young the had to put her under to do it. The surgery took about 15 mins, she was away from us for 30 mins. She was a champ, woke up beautifully and can now give us a big happy grin. Here she is, all silly after her procedure. April 9, 2011. After a few months away we were eager to have Daddy back - the kids watched the stairs at John Wayne Airport patiently. We're so glad he's home, safe and happy. The w...

Every year, the Saturday before the 6th of December, Sinterklass and Zwarte Piet come to visit the Dutch store and when Amanda was a little girl her family would go up to Bellflower and see him and it is a great tradition we have carried on with James and Piper. This year Oma and Opa sent cute little Piet outfits for James and Piper to wear and they were very excited to do so. But Piper wasn't so sure about the whole thing. Fort Building with Leialoha.

Chaos & Cuteness: June 2010
http://smithchaosandcuteness.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
June 5, 2010. So cute to see his perspective on the situation :) he's a very bright little boy. June 4, 2010. This memorial day we opted out of the crazy crowded beach and went to the Irvine Spectrum instead and let the kids play in the fountains - they loved it! James would stand over the hole and let the water spray him right in the face - he thought it was hilarious.until it shot him right in the eye :). The kids LOVE the water - where ever it is. After playing in the fountain we went to see Shrek.
