Everyone's favorite Bay Area-based skeinster, Madame L, has truly gone above and beyond in the Generosity and Hospitality department. Lady M would like to thank her for the surprise shipment of San Francisco-themed goodies - she was delighted! And imagine my surprise to receive an honest-to-goodness congratulatory.singing telegram! Valhalla In the Valley: I Won't Be Ignored, Dan
http://valhallainthevalley.blogspot.com/2011/04/i-wont-be-ignored-dan.html
I Won't Be Ignored, Dan. After a harrowing several months on the run from Rick Fromm and his henchman from the publishing cabal, I'm back on the tubes! Did you miss me? I know I certainly did. And you're very likely thinking, "Gosh, I'll bet Scott has probably matured, and spent a lot of time and energy on self-reflection and personal growth." No. That is not the case. It seems like the longer I live in D-town, the less I know about what's happening around here. Is that intentional? Will there be blood?

Where does the time go? This is proving to be a more valuable lesson to me everyday. Time (and I touch on this from time to time ;-). Every once in awhile I find myself living for the destination instead of the journey. Ever feel that way? Well, I will set that to the side, for now! Have a great weekend!

From Fat to Fit: June 2009
http://not2late2start.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
From Fat to Fit. Tuesday, June 2, 2009. My daughter, Maddy, was asked to be on the tournament team for softball. She has worked hard and has improved a lot from last year. She is showing some promise as a pitcher but she also is doing really well with her fielding. We need to work on her batting but that will come in time. We watched a professional women's softball game last weekend. It motivated her. That is all for now. I am just so proud of her. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

From Fat to Fit. Tuesday, April 21, 2009. Crazy Legs this weekend. This Saturday is the 28th annual Crazy Legs race in Madison. My foot continues to feel good so I am going to run the 5 mile race. I hope the weather improves because today it is cold, raining, and yes, snowing. Busy weekend as my son makes his first communion on Sunday and we will have a houseful of family. I will finish and cross the finish line. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Sun Prairie, WI, United States. View my complete profile.

Well, I 'll be damned. The only two phrases needed for Midwestern conversation. Wednesday, February 24, 2010. Okay, winter, enough already! It is suppose to drop to 6 below zero tonight and maybe only get to 19 tomorrow? I know, I know, get in line, right? But dammit, I would just like there to be somebody at the end of day that is there to say, "I love you, honey and you make my world worth living. Let's grow old together, okay? Well, I 'll be damned. The only two phrases needed for Midwestern conversation. Wednesday, December 22, 2010. The other part of the holidays that is hard is the week between Christmas and New Years. It is the week that my Mom died of an asthma attack. No matter how many years go by-12 this year-it feels raw and sad. Merry Christmas, Happy Solstice, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Kwanzaa, and any other I may have missed. Most of all, peace and joy and health to you and yours. December 23, 2010 at 12:57 AM.
