초등학교 입학을 축하하며 루호에게 쓴 편지. 조금만 천천히 시간이 가기를 바랐는데. 너와 함께 있던 모든 순간은. 미처 셈할수 없을 만큼 행복하고. 확인할 수 없을 만큼 찬란해서. 내 감정을 다 사용해서 그것들을 느끼느라. 시간은 어느 때보다 빨리 흐르고 말았네. 점점 더 빨리 달리고. 더 잘 노래하고 계산하고 말하겠지. 내 인생에 허락된 공연이라면. 모든 걸 주고 기꺼이 그 표를 사야지. 이제 너에겐 신나는 일들이 더 많아질 거야. 내가 그렇게 되도록 도와주고 말고. 그렇고 말고 나의 사랑. 루호가 말하길 이번주 수요일이 유년부 새벽기도 차례란다. 어른도 힘든데 꼬마가 무슨 새벽기도 차례가 있나. 하지만 오랜만에 가고 싶다고 하니 갈 수 밖에. 나는 가기 싫어 잠까지 설치다 알람에 겨우 일어나 혹시나 못일어날까하는 기대로 루호 귓가에 새벽기도 가자 하고 속삭이니 벌떡 일어난다. 오늘은 무슨 기도를 할 거냐고 물으니 남북통일 이란다. 참 너란 녀석. 사랑스러운 녀석. 영아부에서는 입한번 때지 않고.
